Idaho Courts Share Annual Report; State of the Judiciary Set for Wednesday
The Idaho Supreme Court is starting 2026 by sharing a variety of information about its operations and future goals. The Court earlier this month published its annual report on projects, programs and priorities of the Judicial Branch. Visit annualreport.isc.idaho.gov for information on how Idaho’s state courts operate and on programs such as treatment courts and family court services. The Court’s public data site, courtdata.idaho.gov, has also been updated with statistics on caseloads through the end of the 2025 calendar year. New today, the Court has also provided on its website a document describing five priorities that will guide Judicial Branch programs and planning for the next three fiscal years. They focus on court efficiency, technology, security, education and workforce planning – areas identified through a broad survey of court users and court personnel last year. Chief Justice G. Richard Bevan will give his yearly State of the Judiciary address to legislators on Wednesday, January 21. He will speak first to members of the Idaho Senate at around 10:50 a.m. MT. He will then share the same remarks with the Idaho House of Representatives. The speech will be streamed both times through Idaho In Session and will be available to watch later in the day through the annual report website.
