The Idaho Court of Appeals consists of four judges who hear cases assigned by the Idaho Supreme Court.

Chief Judge Michael P. Tribe
Michael Tribe was appointed to the Idaho Court of Appeals by Gov. Brad Little on Jan. 23, 2024. Judge Tribe brings a varied legal background to the role, having worked as a small-town Idaho attorney with a range of expertise before becoming a judge in one of Idaho’s district courts.

Hon. Judge Molly J. Huskey
Judge Molly Huskey attended the University of Idaho where she received an undergraduate degree in Public Relations in 1989 and her Juris Doctorate degree in 1993. Judge Huskey received an LL.M. in Judicial Studies from Duke University School of Law in 2020.

Hon. Judge Jessica M. Lorello
Judge Jessica M. Lorello is a fifth-generation Idahoan who graduated from Boise High School. She received a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After law school, Judge Lorello worked in private practice at Givens Pursley LLP doing health care transactional work and general litigation until 2004, after which she joined the Criminal Law Division of the Idaho Attorney General’s Office where she served the State of Idaho as a member of the Appellate and Capital Litigation Units and occasionally litigated cases at the trial level.
